Morag municipality is situated on Pojezierze Ilawskie in southern part

of Olsztyn province, in district of Ostroda.

 

Considerable disparity of field is related with the course of moraine pulls,

and maximum difference of height totals 93 meters.

 

City and municipality cover territory of 31006 hectares of which 17441 hectares

(56% of grounds) - are rural utilities, 7695 hectares (25 % of grounds) - are forests

and forest grounds, 1429 hectares (5% of grounds) - are wastes,

and the rest 4441 hectares (14% of grounds)

- are waters, roads, and habitable territories.
